Water Supply Project

In the midst of harsh humanitarian conditions, children in Uganda are suffering more than ever. They face the severity of winter inside tents that provide no protection from summer heat or winter cold, along with a severe shortage of safe drinking water. Children endure thirst during the day and shiver from the cold at night, in a daily reality that threatens their health and survival. With the arrival of winter, the situation worsens for thousands of displaced families living in extremely difficult conditions, amid the absence of safe shelter, lack of warm clothing and blankets, and the absence of heating means.

In response to this urgent humanitarian need, Qatra Foundation launches the campaign “Water & Warmth for Children | A Life That Protects Them from Thirst and Cold”, offering a comprehensive humanitarian response targeting displaced children. The initiative provides essential relief interventions, including warm winter clothing, access to clean and safe drinking water (water provision), along with food baskets, heating supplies, and basic shelter repairs—ensuring protection from the harshness of cold and thirst, while preserving their health and dignity.

This campaign carries a clear message of solidarity to every child in need:
“You are not alone… our warmth is one.”
